TO MEXICO! AND TO FREEDOM!!

4/20/2002

Yep. It is now 2:43 am and I have lost my wallet. So sad. So sad.

Sucking air in Boston. Preppies all over. I literally think I could kick all of Cambridge's ass. Weak for a college town so far. Powerfully weak. But maybe that is because this is not Boston. After all, maybe be after 1 am, but I haven't been here for more than 2 hours. I think there's stuff, I just can't get to it. One more go, or sleep and try tomorrow?

It is with deep regret that I announce to you that you have unfortunately been falsly and maliciously misguided in your current thought process, thus sucessfully rendering you fatally mistaken in your erroneous attempt at carrying out these mislead beliefs, in turn, leading you to a state of utter, total but yet incomplete defeat.

I saw two motorcycle accidents today. I was watching my brother's soccer game on the West Side in Riverside park right next to the highway. I turned around to observe the stream of motorcycles cutting through traffic, revving engines. I watch one guy pop a wheelie, when I suddenly look right in front of me to see one bike hit the center concrete curb. The bike flips, turns, skids, and the rider is flung off, doing the same. His helmet popped off while he was making contact with the ground, but there was so much debris as parts of the bike went flying that a bystander might have missed the fact. No, that's not true. You didn't really focus so much on the bike, but on the the human figure as it collided with the ground and then continued several more feet. The CRUNCH an unpiloted motorcycle makes is very distinct.

In my opinion, he was lucky to still be moving and alive when the ambulance took him away. Traffic around him had been moving very slow, because there was a car accident on the other side of the divider, 10 ft before he wrecked. That too, was luck, because the cops were already there for the first accident.

I thought that was pretty unbelievable, but no, there was more. One cop has traffic stopped while the ambulance takes away the injured rider. The motorcycle guy's friends came back, and were now leaving. He is standing between the two first two stopped cars on the Henry Hudson parkway, explaining that, "Yeah, just let traffic clear up ahead. Let the rest of the bikes get out there, put some distance between you and them. The way they ride, it would be putting all your lives in danger."

Another motorcycle goes between traffic, pulls up to the cop.

"Yo, that was my friend. How is he?"

"He is being moved to the hospital."

The guy on the motorcycle nods, guns the engine, and takes off from next to the cop. As he leaves, he attempts a wheelie, and goes up, up, whoops, up to far. Ouch. The biker totters to his feet, and limps his way over to his bike. The cop shakes his head and walks over to the new accident scene. Arrested the dumbass for just plain stupidity. Dumbass.

I bent my wookie!
