EXT. TATOOINE, TUSKEN RAIDER CAMP, OASIS - DAWN
The pale light grows. Thin tendrils of smoke rise slowly in the cold, clear air. Somewhere an dog BARKS. An OLD WOMAN comes out of one of the huts. She carries a pail. She swirls it and tosses the dirty water onto the ground.

As she goes back inside the hut, a TUSKEN CHILD runs past, dragging a stick in the sand. The CHILD runs through the line of huts, turns a corner, and stops suddenly, staring at the bodies of the TWO TUSKEN GUARDS. Between them, ANAKIN stands outside the hut door. His face is a grim mask. The CHILD stares, then there is a FLASH OF LIGHT as Anakin’s lightsaber switches on.

Guess what I saw at 12:15 this morning? (In lieu of studying for a Psych AP, but never you mind that.)

I'd place Attack of the Clones as second best, right after The Empire Strikes Back. It had some bad points, but there were some truly awe inspiring parts to the film. Any romance scene between Natalie Portman, and, uh, the Anakin guy sucked. Truly hilarious. I think maybe George Lucas just needs a girlfriend, but my friend could be correct when he says they rushed it and cut alot of scences. Still didn't stop us from laughing our asses off. Great.
Anything clone or bounty hunter related. Wow. What pulled the movie through was the evil. Some genuinely awesome evil. Any and all evil was great. Spectacular, from the evil plotting Dark Jedi to pissed off Anakin to armies of pawns, it was all some very good stuff. Once the story began picking up steam, the film was very good.

And I got a picture of Janglo Fett standing on the line for the first showing. Mace Windu will get his comeuppance, because he's the only Jedi who's a brotha. No "A New Hope" for him.

Arrgghh. More foot surgery. So much bleeding . . . I have no heel left! There is a damn lot of blood this time around. Soaking through bandages, how bad is my heel? Must have taken alot. No weakness. Push through it, and I'll show you the meaning of power. Strength of will. Must heal . .
